Americans tend to think of ourselves as an eco-friendly, environmentally-conscious society, doing our part for the planet. But which countries are among the most eco-friendly in the world? How are they ranked? What criteria are involved in grading them? And how does the U.S. stack up against them?
Different surveys or studies have different rankings and results. In general, however, many European and South American countries are some of the world’s greenest. (continue reading…)
Wake Up, America: Forced vaccinations, quarantine camps, health care interrogations and mandatory “decontaminations”

(NaturalNews) The United States of America is devolving into medical fascism, and Massachusetts is leading the way with the passage of a new bill, the “Pandemic Response Bill” 2028, reportedly just passed by the MA state Senate and now awaiting approval in the House. This bill suspends virtually all Constitutional rights of Massachusetts citizens and forces anyone “suspected” of being infected to submit to interrogations, “decontaminations” and vaccines.
It’s also sets fines up to $1,000 per day for anyone who refuses to submit to quarantines, vaccinations, decontamination efforts or to follow any other verbal order by virtually any state-licensed law enforcement or medical personnel. You can read the text yourself here: http://www.mass.gov/legis/bills/sen…
Here’s some of the language contained in the bill: (continue reading…)
Organic Produce: Not Just About Nutrition

A new study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found no evidence that organically grown produce was more nutritious than conventionally grown fruits and vegetables. The researchers from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine reviewed 162 studies, spanning the past 50 years, comparing the nutritional profiles of organic and conventional foods. In the 55 studies with the highest quality research, the London School researchers found no difference in 10 of 13 nutrients (read the abstract of the study here). Conventional produce had higher nitrogen levels and organic produce had higher phosphorus levels and acidity. The researchers concluded that what differences there are between organic and conventional foods aren’t large enough to make organic nutritionally superior.
Does all this mean that there’s no reason to choose organic produce? Not at all. Even if organic and conventional produce are nutritionally equal, nutrition is only part of the reason to choose organic when possible. (continue reading…)

Independence Day Message from Green Diva Mom

Today, Americans celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence, when men stood up and acted against conditions that they found untenable. On this 233rd Independence Day, the untenable conditions in America no longer come from a colonial government, but are no less real and still require action. Fireworks are temporary. Here are some active ways for Green Diva Moms to carry on the spirit of Independence Day.
Declare Your Independence from Contaminated Foods
Plant your own produce. Although it is the middle of summer, in most areas of the country, it is not to late to plant quick-maturing summer crops like green beans and summer squash. In many areas, the end of this month is the time to plant vegetables for fall, such as peas, root vegetables, leafy greens and broccoli. When you grow your own, you know exactly what is on it. Urban Forestry

Urban Forestry sounds like a contradiction in terms. Cities aren’t known for their expanses of nature short of small parks and populations of pigeons, but it’s time to take a new look at their potential. A branch of forestry called Urban Forestry is looking at the trees that grow in our urban areas as a potentially rich and valuable ecosystem. You might see only a few trees in front of your office as pleasant decoration, or a local park as a great place for your kids to see green grass. It’s entirely likely though that you haven’t given the little oases of nature around you much thought other than a little bit of gratitude.
The US Forest Service, on the other hand, considers these small places vastly important. It has created the Urban and Community Forestry program to focus on stewarding the natural resources in our cities. These resources include parks, roadside planting, public gardens, wetlands, and any other area where trees coexist with the urban environment. Even the small trees in the middle of the sidewalk have a function. (continue reading…)
Bird Flu Hoax
By Eleni Prokopeas on Jun.03, 2009, under GDM News & Politics, Video & Interviews, Videos
If you’re over 40, you’ve seen the “swine flu” routine before. It came out of the blue. The government created hysteria over it and tried to herd everyone into mandatory vaccinations. The vaccinations killed and disabled numerous people before they were discontinued. Here’s some material about ANOTHER government/media created hysteria-hoax, avian bird flu. The mechanics are the same.
This video starts slow, but is worth watching and studying.
