Rosie Hippo is a fabulous online store where you can shop for handmade, organic, fair trade, ethical and eco-friendly toys. All that are high quality unique toys your kids will love.

They have toys made of ethically sourced and eco-friendly wood, toys made from fair trade materials, they have stuffed animals, pretend play toys…anything and everything that can  spark your child’s imagination while giving them something safe to play with.

I call my youngest child my little monkey and monkey man because he loves monkeys, absolutely adores them. Plus he hops around and climbs everything like a little monkey.

Rosie Hippo has the absolute cutest hand crafted, fair trade monkeys. They are so adorable. In fact they are so cute my little guy did not want to share when I received the two pictured above for review. He wanted to keep them both and not give the pretty pink and charcoal one to his big sister. He was determined to keep them both for himself but finally caved and gave her the pink one… but he keeps stealing it back. I keep finding all the monkeys together in his firetruck bed.

Rosie Hippo also sells the Sandsac, which I received for review. It is an eco-alternative to plastic sand buckets. The very hip and durable Sandsac is a heavy duty canvas bucket bag that comes with non-toxic markers so the kids can decorate it. It also comes with a bamboo spoon (shovel).

My kids snagged it, drew on it and hauled it off to the sand box.

If they hadn’t have run off with it so quick I might have “borrowed” it.  I could totally see using the Sandsac as a stylin tote bag. You can stencil designs on it and have a very unique bag. And it comes in three sizes. I think we have the small. I would love to get the large one and use it as a carry all bag.

My family had the chance to try some of the Plan Toys that Rosie Hippo keeps in stock. Plan Toys make really nice wooden toys. The cookware set is so realistic but small, the perfect size for little hands.

If you had a stove small enough these pots and pans look and feel real enough to cook with.They are  very lovely and the set is a high quality set that will be enjoyed for years, not broken in a matter of days like many cheap plastic toys are.

The matching Plan Toys tableware set is a playful work of art. Cute little plates, bowls, forks and knives all made of wood. I just love these beautiful toys and most importantly- so do my kids. They really love playing with them and make the whole family “dinner” all the time then serve it to us on the wooden dishes.
